Extended Support for External Order Sources

Brink Order Management will be enhanced to better support merchants operating with external onboarding or sales flows that do not use Brink Checkout or Shopper APIs. These merchants typically manage their own integrations with payment service providers (e.g., Stripe) and shipping platforms (e.g., Ingrid), and require Brink to act as a unified order access point for all fulfillment-related operations.

The feature includes extended capabilities to add and manage shipping and payment details on orders within Brink OMS, enabling seamless order updates such as delivery confirmations and cancellations.

Value / Impact:

This improvement broadens the use cases for Brink OMS by allowing merchants with custom or external checkout flows to fully leverage Brink as their operational hub. It enables a unified fulfillment and order management experience, reduces integration complexity, and provides a foundation for merchants to centralize all post-purchase operations through Brink.
