Migrate a session

Feature Overview: This feature enables integrators to migrate a customer session between different store markets, ensuring that prices, stock availability, campaigns, and cart rules are accurately re-validated in the new market without creating duplicate or orphaned sessions.

Key Functionalities:

• Session Migration Endpoint A new API endpoint is available for migrating sessions between store markets. This migration re-validates all essential parameters, such as pricing, stock, active campaigns, and cart rules, similar to refreshing the session.

• Session Integrity The migration process ensures that no duplicated or orphaned sessions are created. Each migrated session will have a reference to the original session, forming a migration chain to track session origins.

• Discrepancy Alerts Any discrepancies in price or stock between markets will be highlighted, allowing integrators to handle differences effectively.

• Session Locking Once a session is migrated, the initial session is locked, preventing any further modifications or re-use in the original market.

This feature enhances cross-market functionality, allowing seamless session transfers while maintaining data integrity and accurate market-specific conditions.
