How long does it take for a change to a discount rule to take effect?

Changes to a discount rule usually take effect immediately, but in some cases it may take a few minutes for them to be applied.
Whenever possible, we recommend using scheduled discounts instead of making manual changes. Please note that changes to an existing discount rule cannot be scheduled—you can only schedule the activation and deactivation of the discount itself.
